| Over the last few years we have
seen the popularity of retro sweets increase in
favour, whether this is due to the increase in more
mature clients hankering for the taste of their
childhood or the younger generation hooking onto the
sweets they have heard talked about is a mystery
likely to remain un solved.
 
Unfortunately many of the old favourites have
been removed from circulation; however the most
popular ones are still available and due to the
demand will be so long into the future.
What is a retro sweet some may ask? Basically it was
when sweets became popular and readily available;
most where brought from traditional sweets shops
that kept the sweets displayed in large clear
containers and were brought buy weight at the
counter, sadly this is very rare today.
 
At Sweetiebag we have tried to kept the spirit of
the retro sweet by selling the items by weight,
although metric now.
